Ingredients
- (12) Large Jalepeños
- (8 oz) Cream Cheese, softened
- (1lb) Soy-free Bacon
- (1/2 cup) Optional: Shredded raw cheese
Directions
These disappear faster than anything I've ever brought to a gathering. Even people who say they don't like spicy food end up going back for seconds.
Ingredients:
- 12 large jalapeños, halved lengthwise and seeded
- 8 oz of our raw cream cheese, softened
- 1 lb of our pastured bacon, cut in half
- Optional: 1/2 cup shredded raw cheese
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F
- Mix the cream cheese (and shredded cheese if using) in a bowl
- Fill each jalapeño half with the cream cheese mixture
- Wrap each stuffed pepper with a half-slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until bacon is crispy
The combination of rich, grass-fed cream cheese and pastured bacon creates flavors that store-bought versions simply can't match. The cream cheese is naturally tangy and rich, while the bacon has that deep, satisfying taste that only comes from pigs raised on pasture.
