No grain is fed at any point.

Animals are on pasture as many days of the year as possible. And, animals must have access to fresh air and sunshine every day.

Pastures are managed in a manner that will enhance the soil year over year. Grain crops for feed must be grown organically and rotated to take care of the soil.

No synthetic chemicals are used on our pastures. No chemicals are used to grow hay or any feed ingredients. All feed given to animals must be grown organically and be approved heritage seed.

Animals are handled and harvested in a stress free and humane way. They are given access to outdoors as much as we can. We pay close attention to the health and wellness of each animal we take care of. All animals are given fresh feed and water daily. Dairy cows are allowed a period of rest before giving birth and milking again. Broiler chickens are given a minimum of 1.5 ft2 per bird. Laying hens get 2 ft2. Turkeys get 2.5 ft2. And keep in mind those are the absolute minimums we allow. They typically get more.

Our dairy cows are genetically tested to verify they are indeed A2A2. This means that they produce milk containing 100% A2 beta-casein protein, which is more digestible and tolerable for most.

We take raw milk seriously, and it doesn't stop with our farming practices. Safety matters a lot. That's why we have our milk tested monthly and our water tested yearly. We make sure the milk is properly agitated and quickly cooled. We don't hold raw milk in the bulk tank longer than 3 days (unless further processed into something like cheese in 6 days). Our bulk tank milk is kept at 34F, and milk stays under 40F while packaging and transporting. Frozen milk must be flash frozen and kept frozen. Our cream is kept at 34F after being separated and processed into things like butter within 4 days. We use organic cleaning products and hot water at 160F for cleaning. All milk equipment is thoroughly cleaned and inspected after each milking.

The consideration for chemical use doesn't stop in our fields and feed. When we clean equipment, we only use products that are organic.

In an effort to reduce GMOs, pesticides associated with GMOs, and produce allergy-friendly foods, we NEVER feed these animals corn or soy.

No antibiotics. No hormones (no BSTs). No dewormers. Our animals are happy and healthy living a natural lifestyle. To prevent and treat illnesses, we use homeopathic and other natural remedies. In the rare case an animal is very ill and need antibiotics, they would not be used for production anymore.

Our chicken and turkey doesn't take a bath after harvest. They are air chilled! That means no chance of cross-contamination and no water weight. You get cleaner meat with a better texture with air chilling.

Our eggs are unwashed. That means that the bloom on the outside of the egg is intact. For you, that means a longer shelf life.

Animals are given ZERO vaccines.

In an effort to reduce GMOs, pesticides associated with GMOs, and produce allergy-friendly foods, we NEVER feed these animals soy. They do receive non-GMO heritage corn in their feed.

We process our meat in house. We choose to use only water to wash our meat. No yucky chemicals (or even apple cider vinegar) for us.
