What's Included

A 1/8 Beef is about 40lb of beef cuts, all individually packaged, vacuum sealed, and frozen. This bundle includes around:

• 10lb Roasts (chuck, eye of round, rump, etc)
• 12lb Steaks (Delmonico, NY strip, ranch, etc)
• 18lb Ground Beef (in 18 - 1lb packs)

It does not include any bones, organs, oxtail, or unrendered fat. 

An Example Order

The exact quantity of each will vary from 1/8 Beef to 1/8 Beef. But here's an example of a box we've actually delivered before:

• 1 Delmonico (rib) steak (1 ~1.3lb pack)
• 2 New York strip steak (2 -1.85lb packs)
• 2 Ranch steaks (2 ~1lb packs)
• 2 Sirloin steaks (2 -1.4lb packs)
• 2 Sirloin tip steaks (2 -1.3lb packs)
• 1 Mock tender steak (1 ~1.lb pack)
• 1 Chuck roast - boneless (1 -3.3lb pack)
• 1 Short ribs (1 ~2lb pack)
• 1 Shank (1 -1.5lb pack)
• 1 Half brisket (1 ~3.75lb pack)
• 18 Ground Beef (18 ~1lb packs)

Store & Thaw

In general, every 30-35 lbs of frozen meat takes up about 1 cubic foot. So, this 40lb bundle will take up less than 1.5 cubic feet in your freezer.

All cuts will last a year in the freezer at their best quality. Thaw in a bowl of water or in the fridge. Once thawed, ground meat should last 1-2 days in the fridge. Steaks and roasts should last 2-3 days in the fridge.
