Storage & Shelf Life

Your milk will arrive cold or frozen. When kept in the fridge, raw milk keeps for 7-10 days before becoming too sour to palate. However, raw milk never truly "spoils" (unlike pasteurized milk). It's always fermented and naturally becomes sour over time - many people prefer using it this way! 

To extend the life of your raw milk, consider decanting it into quart jars with screw-top lids (this limits air exposure to the milk until you use it) or freezing it. When frozen, raw milk will retain all of its nutritional benefits for months until you are ready to use it (typically thaws in the fridge in about one or two days).
