Claim Your Bird!

$50.00

Turkeys are back at Prairie Foods! Raised outside on pasture, fed without corn or soy, and free of all the junk. Your $50 deposit claims one bird (giblets included), delivered the week before Thanksgiving. Birds are limited, so claim yours early.

What Makes This Turkey Special

  • Truly pasture raised (outside on pasture)
  • Corn and soy free feed
  • No chemicals, GMOs, vaccines, or antibiotics
  • No saline injection, colors, or flavors
  • Harvested by us and washed in water. Just water.
  • A white breed chosen for big, meaty breasts (no scrawny birds here)

Thanksgiving is about gratitude, and it's easier to feel grateful for food you can actually trust. When you buy farm direct, you know who raised your turkey, how it lived, and what went into it (and what didn't). That's a story worth sharing at the table. And honestly, we're just as thankful as you are. It's an honor to be part of your holiday.

How It Works

  1. Put down your $50 deposit now. That claims your bird.
  2. We harvest the week before Thanksgiving. Then we weigh your turkey and charge the balance at $9.99/lb, minus your deposit.
  3. Your turkey arrives the week before Thanksgiving.

Birds are limited. We start planning months ahead and can't raise more last minute, so once they're claimed, they're gone.

Subscribers: add the deposit to your next order.
One-off orders: add it to your next order, or order it on its own.

Size & Servings

  • Birds will be about 11 to 15 lb (roughly $110 to $150 total)
  • Feeds about 11 to 15 people, or 7 to 10 with leftovers
  • Giblets included
  • Prefer a smaller or larger bird? Leave a comment on your order or email us and we'll do our best.

Storage & Thawing

Thaw in the fridge, allowing about 1 day for every 4 to 5 lb (plan on 3 days for most of our birds). Once thawed, cook within 1 to 2 days.
